No proprietary formats, no captive cloud, no hardcoded model vendor. Every layer below is open or swappable — that's the architecture, not a slogan.
Cloud infrastructure
Eisberg deploys on any major cloud from the same Kubernetes manifests — no cloud-specific code in the application layer. Your data lands in your own object storage (S3, Azure Blob, GCS), under your own keys. The cloud is your choice, and switching it is an infrastructure change, not a rewrite.
GPU & neo-clouds
The architecture is built to run compute on any GPU cloud, not just the hyperscalers — the same manifests target neo-cloud Kubernetes. Straight talk: the GPU-accelerated query lane is roadmap, not shipping; today real query execution runs on proven, open-source engines. When the GPU tier lands, it lands as a swap, not a migration.
Open-source foundation
Eisberg stands on proven open projects rather than proprietary re-inventions: Apache Iceberg as the only storage format, distributed SQL for heavy work, an embedded engine for millisecond micro-queries, a single open policy engine for governance, and MCP so agents connect over an open protocol. Open standards are the zero-lock-in story — any engine can read what Eisberg writes.
AI model providers
The intelligence layer talks to models through a provider-agnostic router — never hardcoded to one vendor. Route each task to the cheapest capable model, bring your preferred provider, or run open models. If a better model ships tomorrow, Eisberg uses it the same day, and your governance and audit trail don't change.
